The short answer is YES. The measures in place and developments for the future will assist in the improvement of air quality across the city. More importantly the CATCH and ECOtravel programmes will assist in policy making at European and subsequently UK level. The valuable lessons learnt during development of the projects can be used in support of new initiatives and projects and hopefully change current strategic, political, economic and environmental thinking.
